Enrichment Doggy Day Care Guidelines

Our mission is to help you and your best friend enjoy a whole, healthy, happy and loving life together. Our “whole dog care” approach aims to enrich your dog’s whole health and well-being – throughout their entire life. The following guidelines are designed to help us provide whole dog care for your dog in a safe, fun, and healthy environment.

Sex: Dogs must be spayed or neutered by six months of age.

Health: Dogs must be current on Rabies by six months of age (or as consistent with state law), DHPP and Bordetella, and in good health, meaning they are free from any communicable diseases or conditions that could affect other guests.

Safety and behavior: For the safety of everyone (four-legged and two-legged), all dogs must pass our behavior assessment and be socially appropriate with people and other dogs. We reserve the right to turn away any dog unsuitable for our environment.

Treats: As part of our Enrichment Day Care program, we use food rewards to teach and reinforce good behavior. Please let us know if your dog has any food allergies or has ever exhibited any resource guarding behaviors.

Quick release collars: All dogs must wear a quick release collar with a name tag while at day care.

Attendance: Dogs must attend at least 1x/week, ideally on a regularly scheduled day so we can consistently match them with the social environment they will enjoy and benefit from the most. Dogs out of day care for two months or more are subject to reassessment and the associated fee.

Food and lunches: Must be brought in an air-tight plastic container (Tupperware) clearly labeled with dog’s first and last name. Lunches that are not picked up at the end of the day will be discarded.

Agreements: Signed Client Agreement and Rules & Regulation forms must be on file.
